With a crackle and hiss the tiny goblin materialized in the center of the cavernous chamber. Disoriented, he glanced quickly from side to side, taking in the astonished looks of the small party of battle weary adventurers who had summoned him, before, finally and fatefully, looking up into the rapidly descending jaws of an enormous dragon. In a tiny, squeaky, quivering voice he uttered the only words of his brief and ill-fated existence... "oh shit".
Not really. Planning for Ptolus, but still excited about the idea of 4e. Ptolus first, 4e later. I do have a plan for a one or two session 4e game to run about this time next year though-- I just need to write it first.
Ptolus 4E! 4E's clearer help and ruling for skill challenges and whatnot seem like they'd make a less raucous setting work better. (yes, infinite amounts of work and those that prefer 3.5, I understand, simply observing)
The idea of conversion isn't really that farfetched--especially since it is supposedly easy to build 4e NPC's and monsters--and a lot of people have tried it already. I'm just not so sure I'm up to the task. Plus, I wonder how much campaign flavor would be lost in the process. Still, I like the simplicity of 4e and the more powerful PC's at lower levels. Hmmm... things to think about.

Less indecisive now?
